“Real old fashioned cabins which are spotlessly clean and tight. Comfortable beds, plenty of sheets and blankets, wood heat if you needed it and apparently electric if you wanted that which we did not. Quiet. Nice places to take an evening walk. Great hosts. There was a small mixup which was fixed immediately. Not the new age “cabin” of today thank goodness!! Loved the classic Colorado of old feeling.”

“Cozy home walking distance to town.”

“This cabin was exactly what we needed and what it advertised. It is a rustic cabin, which inspires the same. We loved the old wood stove and cool decorations. It was made better by the couple that owns/runs the cabins. They were amazing and great to work with. We rented the cabin instead of taking our camper up for a weekend at Gould to RZR ride with our friends. The location was perfect for us! It was a nice change of pace. We got to shower (in a very clean bath house!), we could eat at the……

“What a charming property! And the hosts could not be more helpful, friendly, and kind! So quiet and peaceful just what we were looking for. Beautiful area as well! Can’t wait to come stay again.”

“Such a great little place! The trailer cabin offers just the right amount of comfort and amenities while still feeling like you're camping. Great location to State Forest State Park and other places to see. Host was great with communication, would highly recommend!”

“Very friendly clean and accommodating.”

“The VRBO was nice, clean, and spacious. Nicely decorated, and had very comfortable furniture in the living room. Bathroom was well stocked and towels were clean and soft. Our bed was comfortable. Communication was wonderful, and the host went above and beyond to provide a kitchen item I asked about. It was unusually hot when we were there. There were a couple of fans, but we couldn’t open the windows because most of the screens were missing and there were a lot of mosquitoes. Beautiful views, and……

“Very comfortable and convenient. I would gladly rent this house again.”

“Down-home comfortable is an understatement when describing the Tatanka Suite. The property appears exactly as advertised and was clean and well furnished. Check-in was the easiest I've ever encountered. North Park, the region that includes Walden, features mountain views in every direction, and the suite featured big windows that made for easy enjoyment of those views. A very pleasant stay,”

“Nice property in Walden! Cute historic house was comfortable for me, my husband and our dog. The large fenced in yard was very nice,”

“Locais great for walking to town for all food and drinks! Literally right out the back door! Great host and home we'll be back!”

“Clean nice people comfortable!”

“A frame was perfect for a reset. Deb was great. 14 inches of snow the night before and the cabin was ready for me on time. Saw dear, elk, and moose. Great hiking even though they had deep snow. Looking forward to heading back in the Fall.Wrex W.”

“What an incredible stay! This place is a little slice of heaven. The views are beautiful, the wildlife is abundant, there's easy access to hiking both on the property and in the Medicine-Bow Routt National Forest, and the hosts are welcoming, conscientious, and helpful. I had never stayed in an off-grid cabin before, but Deb and family make it all seamless. I strongly recommend: making tea on the propane stove and watching the world wake up first thing in the morning, sitting outside with a good……

“Enjoyed the house we where there just for the night but it was a very warm like home family had a good time and the place was very clean”

“Fine”

“Beautiful ”

“Description is very precise. Such a cute cabin. We chose location because it was close to the North Sand Hills Recreation area. We brought our toys (Atvs and UTVs) and parking for that was great. The space of cabins were perfect for our family. Its a plus when its dog friendly. Would recommend and would be back.”
